Cover for windscreen damage can be added to all car policies, including, comprehensive, third party, fire and theft and third party only policies. When you add the windscreen extension cover to your policy, you can claim for any accidental damage to your windscreen, windows, sunroof, and driving lights without having to pay an excess.
If you need to make a claim on your personal motor vehicle, home or contents policies, you can do this online. For all other policy types, please call us on 0800 80 24 24.
If you have State Full Cover car insurance, anyone can drive your vehicle as long as they have your permission and meet the policy’s terms and conditions.
However, we recommend listing all regular drivers and drivers under 25 years old so we know who they are and can give them the most appropriate excess. If they need to claim, an unnamed driver under 25 will pay a higher excess than if they are named.

1Our policy’s definition of natural disaster follows the Earthquake Commission Act 1993 definition but is limited to earthquake, natural landslip, volcanic eruption, hydrothermal activity, tsunami or natural disaster fire. Flood and storms are excluded.
