Do I need to register for a new account to login to the app

If you do not have an existing online account, you will need to register for one which you can do on the mobile app. You can use the same online account for the web or mobile app.

 

Can anyone download the app?

Yes, anyone can download the State Insurance app for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Which devices are supported?

The State app is supported on Android and iOS phone and tablet devices for  iOS 14+ and Android 7+.

To check which iOS version you are on, please go to your Settings, tap on General, then About.

If you do not have a supported iOS version, follow the standard Apple process for updating your device.

To check which Android version you are on, please go to your Settings, tap on More, then About Device.

What do I do if I have an issue relating to the apps?

Please check the following:

  • Is your device supported? (Please see our list above)
  • Have your login details been entered into the app correctly?
  • Do you have access to Wi-Fi or mobile data?
  • Is the latest version of the app on your phone? (Please visit the App Store or Play Store application on your phone and choose ‘Update’)
